Convenient location, clean rooms We stayed at a traditional Japanese inn that was conveniently located near the train station. the room was quite clean and we appreciated the authenticity of staying in a ryokan. the breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed sampling some local dishes.
the futon mattresses were very thin and we woke up with sore backs.

A railroad station was great for traveling. Hokuto, where you can eat, is easy walk to the hotel. Excellent home base for a city trip in Kyoto.

Convenient Location 🏞️
This place is within walking distance of a popular dining spot called Kyo Chabana Kyotoekimae. It's also close to one of our favorite spots, Ginkaku Ji.

Genuine Japanese guest house experience. The ryokan offered an authentic taste of Japanese hospitality and culture. Great location near the station and metro, making it convenient for exploring the city and getting around.- Meticulously clean rooms and helpful staff, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Outdated room decor. While the rooms were clean, they could use some updating in terms of furniture and aesthetics.

The location of the guest house is very convenient, as it is close to the main railway station and within walking distance to the geisha district. Guests can enjoy exploring the local area, as there are lots of shops in the railway station and nearby department stores. the staff is also very helpful and provides impeccable service, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The room size may be a bit small, which could be a downside for those who prefer more spacious accommodations.
